Yoga for Children and Families
Chelsea has been teaching yoga to children since 2010 and is the founder of Good Seeds Yoga, a company devoted to bringing yoga to children and their families. She has dedicated much of her professional life to guiding children’s development not only through yoga, but as a camp counselor, educational assistant, and USA Gymnastics certified coach. Chelsea completed her Children's Yoga Specialty Certification with Global Family yoga in 2016. Her children’s yoga classes blend physical poses with mindfulness practices, books, art, and games to keep the students engaged and eager to continue a lifelong practice.

Weekly Public Classes for Children and Families
Movement, stories, games, laughter and silence help kids (ages 5-8) create a deeper understanding of their environment and themselves. Students will learn traditional yoga poses such as lion, tree and warrior to develop strength, flexibility, coordination and balance. Children this age love the challenge of more 'advanced' poses. Arm balances, longer holds, and pretzel type poses keep kids engaged and growing with this life-long practice. Games and partner poses reinforce an understanding of the practice while fostering a sense of community and fun! No previous yoga experience necessary.
Engage your child’s creativity with a story-themed yoga class you can enjoy together! This unique class is designed for children (ages 2-4) and their parents. Yoga poses and stories are woven together to create a unique and interactive practice for this busy age. Your child will experience the benefits of yoga as they learn postures which ask them to jump like a frog, swim like a fish, and fly like an eagle. Each class incorporates stories, images from nature, music, deep breathing, and relaxation to introduce young students (and their parents) to the joy of yoga. Class fee includes attendance for 1 adult and 1 child. Additional children may participate for $8 per child.
